The meaning of the name Ava is "life" and Grace "grace." These are so fitting for this girl not only because of her sweet temperament but also for the family that she was born into. They are so full of life and love and it is truly infectious. Their story hasn't always been easy, but the strength and beauty that I've seen is inspiring. And by God's grace there has also been so much joy. When my friend asked if I would be able to do a 1st birthday session for Ava my immediate response was "of course!" I absolutely love celebrating these milestones and it means so much to play a small part in creating a memory that will last.
This particular session was so fun. Although it was a really gloomy day outside, inside was a completely different story. Ava was and is pretty much a real life doll and has the sweetest temperament. Even the way she ate her cake was so dainty and you couldn't tell that her nap time was all thrown off. Her big sister and brother were always there to help her or just to give her a kiss and they were incredibly patient, waiting for their slice of cake to come at the end. It was hard narrowing down the photos because there were just too many cute moments, but here is a glimpse into our time together.
